Arcade Muse BZ-2 Product License 1.0

Effective for the BZ-2 0.3.1 product release, 10 October 2026.

This license accompanies a legitimate purchase of Arcade Muse BZ-2 from Arcade Muse. “Seller” means the Arcade Muse publisher identified on your purchase receipt and the store's seller/contact information. “You” means the individual or business that purchased the license. Keep your receipt as your purchase record.

1. What your purchase licenses

You receive a non-exclusive license to use the supplied BZ-2 cabinet, Studio, source and accompanying original assets within the scope below. The purchase is a one-time software license. It does not require a recurring Arcade Muse payment to keep using the supplied version, and it does not transfer ownership of the Arcade Muse brand or reusable authoring kit.

2. Your own work and commercial projects

You may:

• Install and use the kit for the purchasing individual or business, including by staff and contractors working on that purchaser's projects.
• Customize the supplied source, settings, artwork, music, cars, text and links to create finished BZ-2 cabinets.
• Publish unlimited finished cabinets for your own or your business's work on sites you control.
• Sell finished, customized playable cabinets as digital products and deliver finished cabinets to paying clients. You may deliver a playable HTML export, static publication or a hosted installation needed to operate that finished work.
• Permit the customer or client to play and host the finished cabinet you delivered. You may provide the operational controls necessary to maintain that installed cabinet, but not a separately reusable copy of Studio or the general-purpose source kit.
• Use your own branding in finished work, including removal of the visible “Made with Arcade Muse” line. Keep required asset credits and third-party notices in an accessible credits/about file or page.
• Keep backups and create promotional screenshots, share cards and recordings of permitted cabinets.

The finished cabinet may be sold as a downloadable work or commissioned project. Its player-facing game must remain free of paid plays, wagers and cash-out mechanics. Charging for the finished software is distinct from selling chances or credits to play it.

3. What is not granted

You may not resell, sublicense, give away or distribute the reusable Studio, general-purpose source kit, original uncustomized product ZIP, or a substantially equivalent authoring toolkit. A change of name or a cosmetic edit does not turn the kit into a separately licensed toolkit you may redistribute.

The runtime code necessarily contained in a permitted finished HTML, static publication or hosted installation may be delivered with that cabinet. That permission does not turn its contents into a separately redistributable general-purpose authoring kit.

You may not grant master-resell rights in the kit. Your customers receive the rights needed to use the finished cabinet you supplied; they do not receive a new right to redistribute the underlying reusable tools. If someone wants to create their own unrelated cabinets with Studio, they need their own Arcade Muse license.

You may not imply that Arcade Muse endorses your cabinet or that your product is an official Arcade Muse release. Names and branding you add must not infringe someone else's rights.

Do not add bets, paid chances, cash-outs or prizes of monetary value awarded by chance. The supplied reward features are for public promotional files and links; they do not establish purchase authentication or secure paid-file access.

4. Included material and your content

The included original AFTERLIGHT demonstration music and artwork, procedural cars and scenery may remain within licensed finished cabinets and recordings/screenshots promoting those cabinets. Keep the supplied material credits in an accessible credits/about area or accompanying file. Do not extract or redistribute these materials as a separate stock-music, model or image pack.

Some included material was created with AI assistance or generation, as recorded in the material ledger. This license does not promise that such material is exclusive, independently copyrightable in every jurisdiction or unlike every existing work.

Your uploaded content remains yours. You are responsible for obtaining the rights required to publish, distribute and record it, including music, images, models, text and reward files you add. Arcade Muse receives no ownership of your uploaded work through this license.

5. Third-party software

Third-party components retain their own licenses, including the three.js MIT license in `THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES/THREE-LICENSE.txt` and `THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt`. Preserve those notices as required. Nothing here removes rights granted by a component's own license.

6. Hosting, services and future releases

The purchase delivers the supplied software version and files. It does not include hosting, a domain, installation labour, custom development, a specified support response time, future paid products or a promise of lifetime feature updates unless the store expressly includes them in your purchase.

Place networking, cross-site communities/rankings, recurring billing, a shared license server and access to a completed Atrium service are not included features of this release. Each hosted installation is operated by its owner, with that owner's configuration, backups and server account.

7. Support and purchase terms

Use the contact information shown on your purchase receipt or the Arcade Muse store for support. The store's support, refund and other sales terms disclosed at purchase apply alongside this product license. This license does not replace mandatory consumer rights or any non-excludable statutory protection.

The documentation identifies tested configurations and known limitations. The seller does not promise universal device compatibility, commercial results, approval by every host/payment/social provider, or legal approval for every use you might add. Where the law permits, the software is supplied as described in the product documentation without additional implied guarantees; mandatory rights remain unaffected.
